MAGSIGE MPC successfully conducted its 14th Annual General Assembly
The Manuel Guianga and Sirib Growers and Employees Multi Purpose Cooperative (MAGSIGE MPC) successfully conducted its 14th Annual General Assembly. The 1st leg was held in T’boli South Cotabato last February 20, 2022 attended by members in region XII. The second leg was conducted last February 27, 2022 in Davao City via zoom attended by members in region XI and XIII. This year’s Annual General assembly carries the theme; Together, we can reach greater heights. During the opening remarks of MAGSIGE MPC’s CEO, Mr. Agripino L. Torres, he pointed out the importance of unity in achieving success. Mr. Torres also stressed that every member of the organization should have faith that together, we can reach greater heights inspired by the Cooperative’s Vision; Sustainable Cooperative; Prosperity for every family.
Top CDA officials sent their congratulatory messages to MAGSIGE MPC to include; ASEC. Myrla Paradillo, the Acting Administrator of CDA, Director Elma R. Ougis, the Regional Director of CDA XII, Director Ruben Cunanan, Regional Director of Region XI and USEC. Joseph B. Encabo, the Chairman of CDA. Ms. Luz Eblamo also gave her message during the activity representing the office of the City Cooperative Development Office. Senator Miguel Zubiri during gave his speech stressing the vital role of MAGSIGE MPC in the community during the pandemic.
MAGSIGE MPC’s Annual General Assembly is one of the few Cooperatives in the Philippines who conducts AGM as early as February every year; one of MAGSIGE MPC’s best practices.
