MAGSIGE’s Displaced Member-Workers Received Financial Assistance
With the many businesses that have been disrupted by the pandemic causing a very low income in different operations, MAGSIGE as a Job Contracting Cooperative find it a very challenging state. Hence, caused by low generating operations some have opted to close and halt its business. With this, we cannot deny the fact that some of our member-workers have been also affected and unfortunately lost their jobs. However, with MAGSIGE’s eye for its member’s prosperity and welfare, MAGSIGE continued to look for possible avenues for them.
Luckily, with MAGSIGE’s constant coordination with the Department Of Labor and Employment XI (DOLE XI), the cooperative was able to gain some slots for Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD). And last April 27, 2022, thirty-three (33) displaced member-workers have received financial assistance. Via | Prince Maglinte
