ABOUT MAGSIGE MPC
Where It All Started
The Manuel Guianga and Sirib Growers and Employees Multipurpose Cooperative (MAGSIGE MPC) was organized in 2008 at Barangay Manuel Guianga, Calinan, Davao City and was formally registered with the Cooperative Development Authority on September 10, 2008. Thru the initiative of the 1st Chairperson, Mr. Agripino L. Torres, the cooperative was established to address the labor inefficiencies experienced by the banana growers of Barangay Guianga and Sirib at that time.
Since its establishment, MAGSIGE MPC grew into one of the top-performing cooperatives in the Davao region and in the Philippines. From 86 members, the cooperative has increased to more than 18,000 members and continuously growing.
MAGSIGE MPC expanded to different areas in Mindanao with five (5) satellite offices located in Matalam, North Cotabato; Tboli, South Cotabato; Tagbina, Surigao del Sur; and the main Davao City offices.

GOD-LOVING – MAGSIGE MPC honours God, respect the rights of others, and refrain from doing acts contrary to law, good morals, and good customs. We discourage wrong doings and does not discriminate anyone.
GOAL ORIENTED – MAGSIGE MPC works towards one goal to achieve unity and harmony in managing the affairs of the Cooperative. We are persistent and determined to finish or support whatever projects or programs initiated for the cooperative.
