MAGSIGE Bags Caravan
It has been already customary to Manuel Guianga and Sirib Growers and Employees Multipurpose Cooperative (MAGSIGE MPC) to give and extend help to the less fortunate, especially when it calls for the welfare and education of the children. Hence, last February 8, 2022, in partnership with the Department of Education XI and under the MAGSIGE Cares Program of our cooperative, we were able to distribute 150 bags loaded with school supplies to the Grade 7 students of Baracatan National High School where 90% of the students are Indigenous people.
The event, Feeding and Gift Giving Program of the school with the theme, “Strengthening Partnership and Collaboration in Achieving Excellence” were attended by DR. Warlito E. Hua, ESSD Chief, Region XI, and Mr. Richard B. Rosales, Business Development Manager of MAGSIGE MPC on behalf of our CEO, Mr. Agripino L. Torres. As the activity concludes fruitfully, Mr. Ramil D. Magunot, Principal of Baracatan National High School, was immensely grateful to DepEd XI, MAGSIGE MPC, and other contributing individuals for choosing and supporting their school. |via Prince Allan Maglinte
